Accelerator History Project

Prof. Tim Koeth has had the great opportunity to teach an honors seminar he conceptualized over a decade ago.  HONR298J is a history of particle accelerators class, specifically titled “A Century of Smashing Atoms: Particle Accelerators, Engines of Discovery.”  More about the course specifics can be found on our teaching page.  A key component of this class is the final project: a biography of unsung accelerator scientists and engineers.  It is optional, but encouraged, for the students to permit their reports to be posted on this site.
